Our mission is to elevate the landscape of architectural design by pushing the boundaries of innovation, creativity, and sustainability. We aim to create spaces that not only inspire but also seamlessly blend form and function, enhancing the lives of those who inhabit them. Through a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and forward-thinking approaches, we strive to set new standards in the industry, transforming environments and shaping the future of architecture.
By leveraging advanced algorithms deeply rooted in Graph Theory, we want to unleash architectural creativity through automated floor planning. Tailored for architects, designers, builders, contractors, and developers, GPLAN optimizes efficiency by reducing the time and resources typically expended in manual design processes. We aim to drive automation and spark innovation in floor planning for AEC professionals, transforming the way architectural projects are envisioned.
Prof. Shekhawat interviews with Prof. Mark Goulthorpe at MIT for a Postdoctoral Position, joining a project centered on the concept of "Design-Yourself-a-House." Although the project didn't progress due to funding issues, the innovative idea stayed with Prof. Shekhawat.
Prof. Krishnendra Shekhawat has completed his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Geneva under the guidance of Prof. Daniel Coray. During his PhD, he collaborated with Prof. Pierre Pellegrino on an Architecture Design Project. After completing his PhD, he joined the Department of Architecture (Design & Computational Lab) at the University of Lisbon as a Postdoctoral Fellow under the guidance of Prof. Jose Pinto Duarte. Presently, he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani, India. Last year, he was appointed as a Scientific Advisor to Digital Blue Foam, Singapore. He has published many research papers focusing on the automated generation of floorplan layouts.
